1997 – Foundation of LWN Lufttechnik GmbH, initially as an engineering office, due to the insolvency of Taifun Lufttechnik GmbH with its branch in Cossebaude.

2001 – Construction of a production hall in Wilsdruff.

2007 – Construction of LWN Lufttechnik’s first own ventilators.

2012 – Takeover of all manufacturing facilities and trade mark rights from Günter Bistron GmbH & Co. KG in Krefeld.

2016 – Mr. Wieland Wittig, the last founding member, leaves LWN Lufttechnik. Mr. Reiner Giesbert takes over the company as its owner and CEO
- 2019 - Mr. Aleksander Pinda becomes partner and second management director. LWN grows and invests in the machine park and in personnel.
